Today was yet again another adventure. B had his check-up at the ear specialist in Regina. My mom came with us again to give me a hand. We left the house at 7:30 (thought it was pretty good for the three of us to be out the door by then!!) After driving 3 hours to get there and waiting in the waiting room I was told..."Well because it is so infected I can't see a thing, see you in a month". Great...just what I wanted to hear! I guess we will head back in May and see what he has to say about the tubes then! Thank goodness our kids travel well!
On the plus side, my sister drove down to the city and met us for lunch. It was great seeing her and having a visit over lunch!
Memory of the Day
After doing a little shopping at Walmart I was in the van nursing Corbin and B was there with me. (Mom had ran back in to grab us a drink before we hit the road home.) Of course, once mom was out of sight B says "Mom I have to pee". I tried to get him to hold off until she came back so I could run in with him without loading Corbin up to take him too. No luck. So I asked him "Can you pee in a cup?" "Yup I think so" he says. Well we were out of luck, the cup had been thrown out....so a bottle it was. He did great and thought it was kinda neat! Just hope some poor soul doesn't grab it from the garbage thinking it is apple juice!!
Carter had school today. Below is one of their Easter Art projects. Pretty cute!

Tuesday April 19th ~ Ear Ache
Last night was a long night. B was up with an ear ache. I knew it must be bad as he gets these quite frequently however never usually bother him too much. After being up with him I knew we had to head to the Dr first thing in the morning. So... at 7:30 we loaded into the van and off we went to the Dr. Sure enough that's what it was so back home we came with meds. My mom jumped in with us so that I didn't have to take Corbin into the hospital. I feel so lucky to have my parents right here. I am so thankful for that and everything that they do for us.
Speaking of lucky to have my parents here...Dad has this week off. Yesterday it was B's lucky day to spend it with Grandpa all by himself. He was really enjoying his day. Mom text me mid afternoon to tell me that they were having coffee/juice and a snack and B was filling dad in all about transformers...too cute. Then I received a text that I better try to come get him as he wasn't wanting to leave. Guess he was enjoying his own time at G&G's! Today was Carter's day to spend with Grandpa. Not sure what all they did today but he managed to come home with some new treasures! Thanks dad!

Monday April 18th ~ Chillin
After supper tonight the boys (minus Corbin) headed outside as it was a relatively nice evening. I was doing dishes only to look out the front window to see this......
Saturday April 17th ~ Busy Sunday
This morning the oldest two boys, myself and my dad headed out to the golf course to take some pictures. It was a cold miserable morning but out we went anyway. With all of the spring run off it was interesting to see all of the water out at the course. Below are a few pics from our adventure this morning. Once we finished we went back to mom and dad's for a delicious brunch! Mmmm....
After brunch home we went. The afternoon was a busy one. As a member of our Daycare Parent Advisory Committee I was involved in the organization of our annual Easter Extravaganza Fundraiser. This event is for families and focused on lot's of fun for the kids. Needless to say today was a busy day at the daycare hosting the event. Grandma kept Corbin for the day and Blair attended the event with the oldest two. The day was another success...actually financially our best yet!

Satruday April 16th ~ B's Day & Celebration
Today our local Daycare PAC (Parent Advisory Committee) hosted the 2011 IMPACT Early Learning Event. This event was for children born in 2007. That meant a special day for B and mom. We attended the event together and took our time at the each of the stations exploring the activities.
YAY...Time to Celebrate!!
This evening we received a very exciting phone call! I am officially getting another sister and the boys an Auntie! Yup...that's right...Kurt has proposed to Alison and she said yes!! We are so excited!

Friday April 15th ~ Kindergarten Sharing Day
Since the day Corbin was born, Carter has wanted to take Corbin to school for sharing day. With all the sickness we have had, I have been putting this off. So, today was the day....Carter was so excited to show him to the class and tell them all about him, his name, how old he is, the sounds he makes, how he helps change diapers and much more. He also answered questions from the kids. It was a pretty cute moment! Thanks Mrs. Paton for letting him bring his little brother!! :)

Thursday April 14 ~ Spring Run Off
This evening Carter, Brandon and Blair headed out with my dad for a little tour of all the spring run off. People are talking like this is the most water that people have seen in a number of years. There are roads flooded everywhere. Carter seems to be amazed by what he sees!
